In this key role, you'll have the opportunity to directly influence the IT experience for staff and students, overseeing problem resolution and guidance, and actively managing the IT support team. You will use your leadership skills to develop better work practices, helping your team to meet service level requirements and continuously improve service quality. The aim? To ensure swift, effective response to IT support requests, building effective working relationships along the way.
You'll not only manage a team, including line manage the Helpdesk Analyst and Administrators, ensuring a balanced workload for optimal execution of both helpdesk analysis and administration. You will be the champion of your team and reporting up to the IT Director and Senior leadership, understanding their goals and plans and integrating them back into the IT support service.
