Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Customer Accounts Manager to strengthen their customer service team and play a pivotal role in managing and developing client relationships.

The Role
The Customer Accounts Manager will act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their requirements are handled efficiently and with care. This is a customer service-led and supporting key administration in the first year, with the opportunity to evolve into a more strategic account management position as the business continues to develop.
This role is well suited to someone who is a natural relationship builder — nurturing, approachable, and genuinely invested in supporting customers and the company’s long-term success. It requires commitment, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer care while spotting opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts.

  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong, long-term customer relationships.

  • Manage day-to-day administration of customer accounts, ensuring accurate record keeping.

  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, planning, and production.

  • Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring satisfaction and retention.

  • Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Prepare reports and contribute to monthly management review meetings.

  • Support colleagues when required and assist with wider business projects.

  • Take on additional duties as directed by the Line Manager.

About You

  • Previous experience within a food-based or relatable industry (such as ingredients, nutrition, supplements, or chemicals) is essential.

  • A strong communicator and relationship builder, with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented with solid administration experience.

  • Customer-focused and nurturing in approach

  • Ambitious and eager to learn and progress into greater responsibility over time.

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and liaising with different teams.

  • Confident in using Microsoft Office and business systems.

  • Holds a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the company.

Why Apply?

  • Join a market leader in food and sports supplements with an excellent reputation.

  • Competitive salary (£30,000 – £35,000 DOE).

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00

  • Excellent long-term career development as the role grows in scope.

  • Be part of a collaborative, supportive, and professional team.
