Our client are a hugely successful specialist commercial interiors company focussed on helping businesses with their expansion, relocation, refurbishment and modernisations.

With an expertise in smaller footprint workplaces, their business structure divides into three specific areas with the core market being Category B fit out and refurbishment works.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join the team.

The purpose of the role is to:

•Generate and deliver a variety of project work on client sites (mainly Central and SE London)
•Have full accountability and responsibility for managing and delivery of project works
•Identify and generate project opportunities from within a set portfolio of maintenance contracts
•Liaise with clients on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes
•Work with the project director, designers and sub-contractors to define and document scope of works
•Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project outcome.
•Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns
•Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the projects end to end. Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site manager duties
•Work closely with all parties to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project
•Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans
•Ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored
•Provide timely reports to the senior team in an agreed format
•Identify and develop a short/medium- and long-term pipeline of project opportunities from the portfolio of clients
•Ensure the projects are commercially viable and satisfy the commercial terms of the contract

The ideal candidate will:

-Have up to date knowledge of the construction market
-Be fully competent with Project Management methodology
-Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislation
-Minimum of 3 years proven Project Management experience in an M&E, FM or construction environment
-Understanding of CDM regulations
-IOSH Managing Safely and/or SMSTS
-Recognised technical qualification in construction, M or E or similar
-Recognised qualification in Project Management
