Production Administrator
Location: Thetford
Salary: £29,000 – £33,000, depending on experience.

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Production Administrator to keep their manufacturing process running seamlessly by overseeing essential paperwork, timelines, and cross-team communication.

About the Role
The Senior Production Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production workflow. You will manage critical documentation, maintain accurate schedules, coordinate with multiple departments, and support the delivery of high-quality products.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to keep processes running efficiently day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Print emails and drawings for scheduling within the Design Team.
  • Prepare and populate Final Inspection Certificates.
  • Issue order paperwork to the shop floor and stores departments.
  • Update order and call-off spreadsheets.
  • Release and print product labels for required orders.
  • Create and maintain job folders within the system, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage and store Final Inspection Certificates.
  • Update pallet and delivery schedules.
  • Liaise effectively with the Contracts Team, Design Team, Production, and Logistics.
  • Maintain and update the production schedule with accuracy, ensuring timely communication to relevant teams.
  • Provide support and cover for the Production Coordinator and Planning Office Lead.
  • Perform other ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Experience in administration within a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to follow established processes and procedures.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proactive, motivated, and willing to go above and beyond in supporting operations.
