My client are a fantastic Tech PR agency and are now on the look out for an experienced PR Account Director with experience of working with technology clients to join them!

You'd be joining a fast-growing tech PR agency with a global reach, who are dedicated to helping ambitious technology companies build their brand and achieve business outcomes. Their portfolio features new-to-market start-ups through to heavyweight global enterprises, predominantly in the B2B space.

Your work family are a connected team that work seamlessly across a remote-working landscape to support their clients’ businesses every step of the way, delivering impactful results through strategic communications, expert counsel, and powerful storytelling.

When you work with them, they support you in a way that nurtures your growth, helps you navigate those tough days, and empowers you to achieve and shine. Account Directors in the business are guardians of day-to-day client, team and media relationships.

You will balance a commercial mind with creative thinking and proven writing skills, managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring targets are consistently exceeded and that processes are efficient and profitable for the business.

You will manage and motivate an ambitious PR team successfully through their daily responsibilities, helping them to develop their skill-sets, and establish appropriate internal communications and practices to create an inspiring place to grow and achieve. You will be an experienced and hands-on project manager, creative problem solver and anticipatory leader who always thinks three steps ahead.

Who are you?
  • You must, must, must have PR agency experience!  This will be from a pure PR agency environment, not a digital marketing or marketing agency environment, as unfortunately you won’t have the right PR AD experience to be able to manage your portfolio or guide/train the up-and-coming team.
  • You must have B2B PR experience - Consumer PR is a totally different ball game to what my client does so although happy to consider those that have worked on consumer accounts, you must be really comfortable with running B2B campaigns and be senior enough to be commercially aware.
  • Ideally you will have experience of working with technology clients, ideally recently.
  • Team management experience
  • Article writing experience is crucial.
My client is happy to look at people who have come from in-house PR roles but only if you also have recent PR agency experience (IE. within the last 4 years) and tick the other criteria.

You will ideally be based in London (central and greater) as this is where the majority of my client's client base is although Cambridge, Suffolk or Norfolk are just as ideal.

This is a full time role, so please do not apply if you are a freelancer seeking a contract position (unless you want to switch to employed!)

Please get in touch for further information - and apply now if you think you fit the bill!
