The ideal candidate would have excellent organisation and communication skills, a good eye for detail, stock control and inventory. Previous experience with Material Handling/Co-ordination and thrive in a busy fast paced working environment, this is essential for the role.
Job Description
- Ensure materials, packaging and sundry levels are maintained for each production job running
- Ensure post moulding has correct quantities of materials, packaging and sundries available
- Prepare materials and handling equipment as per work instructions and guidance notes
- Carry out effective Machine change preparation in accordance with WI25
- Provide cover for operator duties as and when required.
- Enter transactions on route cards to ensure material stocks and trace ability are maintained
- Adhere to relevant procedures as laid down in the company quality manual.
- Maintain good housekeeping in whichever duty you are performing.
- Actively participate in training and development programmes as required by your manager.
- Regularly communicate with your manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Work in compliance with all statutory rules and regulations.
- Use all equipment, plant, machinery and services with respect and immediately report any faults or repairs needed to the relevant person for action.
- Maintain awareness of developments within areas of operation of other departments within the Company.
- Maintain active interdepartmental co-ordination, communication and co-operation.
