Our client based in Hemswell are looking for Manufacturing Operatives to work within their Manufacturing or Blending department due to continued growth.
We are looking for candidates with previous experience working within a Manufacturing environment.
TEMP TO PERM
Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off. 12 hour shifts.
6am to 6pm - Day Shifts
Duties of Blending
You will be measuring out different powders, which will then all be blended to create the product.
The weights are checked by the quality team or Team Leader, all weights need to be recorded.
This role can include heavy lifting of up to 25kg.
All instructions will be listed and must be adhered to at all times, from the amounts to how long they are in the machine blending.
You will be responsible for organising the completed product in to clean containers.
PPE must be worn at all times and comply with health & safety procedures.
Once blending/dispensing completed, all remaining products need to be removed from the room and a deep clean of the work space and machines using IPS solution. This is to ensure the machine and area are ready for the next product. This stops cross contamination.
All paperwork must be updated and filed correctly according to procedures.
All Health, Safety & Environment procedures to be followed at all times.
Duties of Manufacturing:
The capsule Machines are all automated capsulation machines, these fill variable size capsules with powder.
The tablet press machines are a state-of-the-art computers with single-sided rotary tablet press. This is designed especially for unmanned operation in cGMP production environments.
Tablet coaters - Coats tablets by spraying a coating solution. Tablets are then in a drying airstream while being agitated in a rotating pan. At the end of the coating cycle, the tablets are discharged by reversing the rotation of the drum.
You will be responsible for checking all components are correct as per the order information.
Once production starts the first quality weight check must be completed and signed off on the document by an authorised person. Only then can production commence fully.
All problems are noted with the above quality checks, then you must inform the Quality department or your Team leader immediately.
All relevant documentation needs to be completed, This is to ensure the QA has signed off on the room prior to use.
