My client is seeking a diligent and skilled Legal Secretary to join their team. This role is based in their St Albans office, with a day a week in the London office. You'll be an integral part of supporting our Partners and fee earners in a multifaceted role, thriving in a busy environment.
Key Role & Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive secretarial support, including typing, proofreading, and formatting various legal documents.
- Efficiently handling communication with clients and managing dictation.
- Conducting AML checks, dealing with Land Registry applications, and managing post-completion formalities.
- Skilfully drafting letters, organising files, and preparing invoices and payments.
- Assisting with diary and calendar management, including arranging meetings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational prowess.
- Competency in using Outlook, Word, PDF Docs, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative team player, adaptable, and flexible.
- Good understanding of legal practice principles.
