IT Technician
Our client, a charity based near Oxford City Centre, is currently seeking a candidate who is able to provide front 1st line IT support to its network.
The role is initially 2-3 months with a potential for a permanent vacancy once the temporary assignment is completed.
The Role
• Provide frontline IT support for staff
• Diagnose computer software or hardware problems, escalating support requests to the head of IT if necessary
• Identify problems and repair printers, copiers or scanners
• To install programmes and new hardware
• Create documents to assist staff to use for common training
• Set up and maintain user email accounts
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience of providing IT support in an office environment
• Good verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of legislation e.g data protection act
• IT qualification or Relevant Experience
• Driving Licence in order to travel to the network when required
The Benefits
You will be entitled to a salary of between £12-15 P/H dependent on experience, over a 37.5 hour week. You will also be joining a great, welcoming and friendly team making a real difference to people's lives.
Should you choose to pursue the permanent vacancy and are successful, you will be entitled to a salary of £24-27k plus great benefits.
