In this role, you will demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic and customer-focused approach. Ensuring all requests are dealt with swiftly and effectively, your actions will be instrumental in maintaining the high level of service that their users depend upon. You will be working collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve our practices, act as a role model and an ambassador for the service.

Key aspects of your role will include providing technical support to ensure the effective running of the IT Support function, managing incidents and requests using the support desk system, and liaising with users on an ongoing basis to enhance the support service provided by the IT function.

IT Systems and knowledge desired: 

  1. Microsoft software and systems

  2. Apple Mac software and systems (desirable)

  3. Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks

  4. Microsoft Office software

  5. Service Desk ticketing system for incident and request management

  6. Active Directory

  7. Support tools for diagnosis of device faults


A successful candidate will demonstrate a working knowledge of these systems, and an ability to use these tools to provide effective IT support.
