Our client, situated right in the heart of the City Centre is Italian owned, local and independent. The Restaurant is the only Pizza Restaurant in this area cooking with a wood-fired oven and is a destination of choice for all dinning guests. This position would suit someone who has worked as a Pizza Chef in a similar role, passionate about food and enjoys working in a high output kitchen environment.
What look for?
• Experience of leading a team of pizza chefs and working with a wood fire oven
• Capable of maintaining high health & safety and hygiene standards
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager.
• Possess a hands-on attitude!
• Working in a high output kitchen with fresh food,
• The production and management of dough,
• Management and a good understanding of wood fired ovens,
• A keen eye for detail to ensure delivery of the standards and the highest levels of food quality at all times
• A good personality, with confidence and enthusiasm
• Ability to multi task and effectively manage relationships at all levels
• Food Quality & Safety, Inventory and staff management, so previous experience in a similar role is required.
