Accounts Assistant – Luton - £19,000-£21,000

This fast growing business who provide a range of specialist solutions to the food industry in the UK, Europe and beyond are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small team.
The role:
Reporting to the Accounts Executive you will be responsible for the following:
• Provide efficient accounts/finance support for accounts department, including data entry.
• Setting up new customer/supplier accounts.
• Assist with maintenance of purchase/sales ledger.
• Support with ad-hoc tasks, as directed by the Accounts Executive.
• Liaising with clients and customers by phone and email
Skills Required:
• Enthusiastic, organised and diligent.
• Numerate, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• IT literate, with knowledge of Excel and Outlook.
• Professional telephone manner.
• A general understanding of accounting functions such as invoices, credit notes, and payment advice.
