We are searching for someone who can bring some strong experience of European overland operations to a growing business in Ipswich.
Alongside a well-knit team of 20 staff - you could be part of a new growth phase for this successful business - offering cargo services to 25 European countries.
The business have an enviable reputation and loyal client base – with leaders who have learned from the ground up, and still have a supportive and very hands-on approach to operations. Intent on creating a healthy friendly and fun ethos – the company benefit from very low staff turnover and a culture where all are invested in the end goal. On track for success and halfway through their 10 year plan for large scale expansion - this is a platform on which you can grow with the business.
The new recruit will bring a minimum of 3 years exposure to European operations, FTL, LTL express loads. Strong technical knowledge – as well as exposure specifically to Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands continents. In addition to experience – attitude is key. We are looking for ambitious operators who can blend with a friendly team, and bring strong negotiations skill, and a passion for service delivery, increasing productivity and minimising unnecessary costs – handling your files and customer cargo from origin to door.
