Job Title: Maintenance Operative – Electrical Bias
Location: Norwich
Salary: £36K-£42k + Benefits

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Operative with an electrical focus to help keep our client's centre and car park running smoothly.

You’ll handle electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections, plus general building tasks to support the site.

What You’ll Do:
  • Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems like switchgear, distribution boards, and lighting, following safety regulations.
  • Find and fix electrical faults quickly and professionally.
  • Carry out regular safety tests, including emergency lighting and sprinkler systems.
  • Handle minor electrical installations and general building maintenance like plumbing, woodwork, and painting.
  • Check vacant units and roofs, report any problems, and keep records.
  • Follow all health and safety rules, including PPE checks.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified electrician (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) with AM2 completed.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (C&G 2382).
  • Experience in commercial electrical maintenance.
  • Bonus if you have or are willing to get IPAF, PASMA, or inspection/testing qualifications.
  • Good health and safety knowledge.
  • Handy with general maintenance tasks.
  • Problem solver with strong fault-finding skills.
