Data Administrator – Learning & Development

Our client is looking for a meticulous and analytical Data Administrator to join their team. Your primary focus will be to handle and manage data within our Learning Management System and Excel databases. Additionally, you'll craft and assess reports to back our L&D strategies. Your pivotal role ensures our ability to rely on accurate data for formulating effective training strategies.

This role comes with the advantage of a hybrid working model, combining the freedom of remote work with essential weekly face-to-face team interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management
Maintain and update Learning Management System data sets, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Maintain and update Excel data sets, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Implement data quality checks to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Report Generation
Create customised reports and dashboards to track training program effectiveness
Summarize and visualise data trends and insights for management review
Develop automated reporting processes to streamline data analysis
• Data Analysis
Analyse training data to identify training needs and areas for improvement and optimisation
Collaborate with L&D team members to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights
• Collaboration
Work closely with the L&D team to understand their data needs and requirements
Collaborate with HR, IT, and other relevant departments to ensure data accuracy and integration
• Documentation
Maintain clear and organised documentation of data sources, methodologies, and report templates
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data management and reporting

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
• Excellent communication skills to convey data insights effectively
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
