Job Summary:
As a Commis Chef you will be working in an environment where the highest standard of cuisine is produced for breakfast lunch and dinner service.
Main Duties:
• You will be assisting in the food preparation process
• Keep food wastage to a minimum.
• Maintain high standards of working practices in terms of personal appearance and working methods.
• Practice the correct and safe use and care of all items of equipment.
• Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations.
• Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available
• Follow the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef
• Put effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
Qualifications Required:
• NVQ II in Catering or equivalent
