This is a varied role where you’ll assist with food preparation and service while helping to ensure high standards of nutrition, hygiene, and customer care. Due to the range of locations, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Support food preparation tasks such as chopping, sandwich making, and portioning
- Prepare and replenish service areas
- Serve meals in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assist with stock control and rotation
- Work closely with the catering team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Previous catering or food service experience is beneficial but not essential
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Enhanced DBS clearance is essential
