My client is a well-established wholesaler located in the heart of Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, and we’re on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join their growing team as a full-time Bookkeeper and Credit Controller.
In this role, you will take the reins on day to day accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth flow of financial operations with a big emphasis on credit control. While you’ll enjoy a degree of autonomy, rest assured you’ll have the backing of the experienced Finance Director from their parent company.
Your responsibilities will encompass a range of vital tasks, from bank reconciliation to customer payment chasing. You’ll be the linchpin in my client's financial processes, handling everything from purchase invoices to supplier queries and customer receipts. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with their outsourced payroll provider to ensure the team members are accurately compensated each month.
To thrive in this role, you’ll ideally bring experience using Sage Business Cloud Accounting or a similar platform, coupled with robust Excel skills. The ability to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively and meet deadlines with precision will be essential. While not mandatory, possessing an AAT or similar accountancy qualification would be advantageous.
This is a Monday to Friday position, with working hours from 6am to 2pm, aligning with the demands of the client's dynamic environment.
Salary £30,000 - £35,000
