Banqueting Manager

Due to the reopening of my clients wedding & events business I am recruiting for a Banqueting Manager to join the team at an award winning private wedding venue in Essex. Due to the location its essential that you have access to a car or motorbike. 

I am looking for a Banqueting Manager or an Assistant Banqueting Manager looking to develop their career within this exclusive wedding group.

The client caters for over 220 weddings a year varying from small intimate wedding to large full scale weddings for 150.

Banqueting Manager – Role Responsibilities:

· Lead the front of house team in delivering high standard banquet service
· Ensure Venue is set up in accordance with the couple’s requirements
· Manage event rotas for Waiting teams
· Recruit front of house teams, train, motivate, develop and appraise
· Stock control and adhering to budgets
· Ensure that all risk assessments, Health & Safety regulations and EHO standards are adhered to

A permanent contract based on 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 including some weekends. Shifts are generally 12pm – 8pm or thereabouts but flexibility is essential
