Role Overview:
As the Associate Building Surveyor/Project Manager, you will spearhead a team delivering project and professional consultancy services to a diverse range of both public and private sector clients. You will manage resources, finances, business planning, and development within the team, collaborating closely with the office partner. Your ambition should be to grow the team, enhancing existing workloads and forging new business relationships. This role offers the autonomy to develop business across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, residential block management, and defence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead as a Building Surveyor or Project Manager on a variety of projects, ensuring seamless coordination from start to finish.
  • Manage team tasks to guarantee quality and timely services to clients, acting as the primary contact point.
  • Oversee financial forecasting, progress of commissions, and improve team profitability through effective resource management.
  • Understand client expectations, ensuring integrated project documentation and effective liaison with all relevant authorities.
  • Engage in active marketing to expand client base and workload, including preparation and contribution to fee bids.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • A solid academic background with MRICS or MAPM qualifications.
  • Multiple years of post-qualification experience, showcasing a track record in client acquisition and retention.
  • Strong leadership qualities, a dynamic personality, and a commercial mindset.
