Are you ready to drive real change in the energy sector? Do you thrive in fast-paced, hands-on environments where no two days are the same?
I'm supporting my client, a leading business with rapid growth set, in recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join them. Based in Norwich with travel to project sites as required, you'll play a crucial role in delivering solutions from planning through to completion.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you'll be the key point of contact on-site, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your responsibilities will span the full project lifecycle: coordinating with subcontractors and materials, managing budgets and KPIs, liaising with clients and stakeholders, monitoring HSE and quality standards, and keeping meticulous records of site activities and progress.
You'll also support invoicing accuracy, track team hours and expenses, and help identify and resolve issues as they arise. This is a hands-on, site-based position perfect for someone looking to deepen their project management expertise and progress their career.
What My Client Is Looking For
You'll ideally be based in or around Norwich with easy access to project sites. You'll have experience or qualifications in project management, construction, engineering, or a related field, coupled with strong communication and organisational skills. NEBOSH or similar Health and Safety knowledge, electrical engineering background, and Prince2 training or demonstrable experience are highly valued but not essential!
You're comfortable working in fast-paced, site-based environments, possess a full UK driving licence (essential), and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving mindset with genuine passion for renewable energy. Right to work in the UK is essential.
This is a key role in one of the UK's fastest-growing businesses in their sector, combining local agility with global strength. As the company scales, you'll have genuine opportunities for development, upskilling, and career progression, whilst helping to shape the future of a purpose-led organisation.
