Our client, a nationally leading charity making a real difference to people's lives, have an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Temporary Finance Administrator.
The role is based in Cowley, Oxford and you'll be performing payments processing activities accurately. This role has a view to be minimum 3 months however, many of our temps have gone on to secure permanent roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, open and sort postal entry fees, sponsorship and donations.
Sort, check and batch payments in preparation for data input.
Prepare physical payments for banking.
Input data to a variety of databases/spreadsheets, quickly and accurately and in line with procedures
Carry out additional Payment Processing duties and administrative tasks as required. (e.g. filing, post, reconciling payments and bank entries, payment reversals)
Work as an effective member of the team, providing support to other team members
The Ideal Candidate
IT literate and with ideally experience of using financial systems and databases
Accurate and efficient data capture with good keyboard skills.
Attention to detail
Good level of numeracy essential
IT proficient
The Benefits
The successful candidate will be paid up to £11 per hour depending on experience, working 35 hours per week
