Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Adapt to different kitchen environments and work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Assist with menu planning and development when needed
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory management and stock control
- Provide training and support to kitchen staff as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times
- Proven experience as a Chef in various settings (e.g., restaurants, hotels, schools, care homes)
- Culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to different kitchen environments
- Excellent cooking skills and creativity in menu planning
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
