We are looking for a full time or part time Salon Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for customers who visit or call the hairdresser salon, which is based within the heart of Cambridge.
Salary: £8.91ph - £10.50ph - depending on experience
Hours: 40hpw - included weekends
The ideal candidate will be
• Highly organised with record-keeping skills
• Good manner with excellent communication abilities
• Able to manage clients with grace, even at peak times
• Professional appearance
• Similar previous work experience
• Familiarity with processing transactions
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
The Salon receptionist main responsibilities are:
• Greeting customers in a professional and friendly way upon their arrival
• Answering phone calls, book and confirm customers' appointments
• Processing transactions
• Help maintain and boost the reputation by building friendly and trusting relationships with existing and new customers
• Maintain a tidy reception area
