KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out planned preventative & reactive maintenance across the site in an accurate, timely and safe manner ensuring maintenance procedures are followed and in accordance with BRCGS quality standards.

  • Update records of work activities, tasks completed & parts used through stores.

  • Work Closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments in finding ways to improve process and increase machine reliability and performance.

  • Fault diagnosis and rectification on all plant and associated equipment within the business; providing a fast and efficient response time to any plant breakdown that occur, whilst ensuring all company procedures and standards are adhered to.

  • Identifying the root cause of asset faults and improving asset performance and reliability to meet operational objectives.

  • Support production staff in daily machine ‘housekeeping’ to maintain highest standards of availability and food production safety.

  • Analyse data to find solutions to improve performance, providing reports where necessary.

  • Undertake Competent Person duties in the discharge of Contractor performed tasks.

  • In conjunction with the Technical Services Manager, establish goals and objectives for self.

  • Contribute and participate fully in individual training and development strategy to support personal learning and development.

  • Assist the R&D team with their development projects, particularly in construction of engineering prototypes.

  • Be involved in R&D team ideation and problem-solving sessions, giving manufacturing input when required.

Must be predominantly electrical bias with mechanical experience.
Building services experience is desirable.
