World leading manufacturer seek to enlist a Logistics Manager for an initial 6 month contract term.
Leading a loyal and experienced logistics team of 6, you will be responsible for ensuring the right products arrive at their destination in-tact and on time - liaising with internal colleagues, external customers, carriers, and 3rd parties to ensure smooth processes. You will bring experience of overland or ocean export practices, strong exposure to the SAP system and a real focus on customer service excellence. A flexible, energetic and positive approach to multiple tasks will be key.
This team are proud of their longevity, 12 years with zero staff turnover in that time – staff are clearly content in this environment and in their roles. You'll need extensive demonstrable senior experience within transport/ logistics/ shipping or dispatch is preferred. Exposure to export operations is ideal & previous use of SAP software is essential. An owner driver is ideal due to the site location.
