Our client is a leading logistics and distribution company based in Corby. We are looking for a hard working and efficient individual to cover the position of Logistics Administrator on a permanent basis 6am till 2pm rotating with 2pm till 10pm Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for customer service, inbound and outbound operations for one of the company's key accounts.
The stock is received under duty suspension therefore the previous experience in this area will be beneficial but not essential.

The below will be seen as beneficial:
- NVQ in Customer Service
- Previous experience with the duty suspended stock operations
- Knowledge of the HMRC regulations regarding processing the orders and despatching the alcohol beverages
The person we are seeking will be mainly responsible for:
- Administrating the inbound and outbound activities of the duty suspended stock applying the HMRC regulations (orders/ receipts)
- Dealing with all the office administration and logistics functions
- Dealing with stock operations (adjustments/ stock movements)
- Working as part of a busy team and working to set deadlines based on distribution deadlines
- Maintaining data for invoicing purposes
- Daily processing of customer orders
- Printing orders when warehouse request
- Liaising between the hauliers, suppliers and customers
- Following SOPs

Essential requirements:

Previous experience in administration role in the logistics environment an advantage.

- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent PC literacy - MS Excel and MS Word
- Good numeracy skills
- Attention to the details
- Passion for delivering an exception level of customer service
- The ability to work under pressure and to set deadlines
- Team player with the initiative to work alone
- Own transport ideal to ensure ability to get home late at night

Hours are 06.00-14.00 14.00-22.00 rotating Mon-Fri with 30 minute break + weekend work on a rota.
This is a permanent role but you will work through Select to start with through the qualifying period
