Our client, a highly successful, fast growing and ambitious company operating within the Speciality Insurance sector are looking to add to their team with the addition of a Finance & Planning Analyst for their Croydon office.

This exciting and challenging role will provide the CFO and Financial Controller with technical, strategic, and financial planning support, whilst being a valued member of the day-to-day team. This will involve the writing of technical accounting papers, assisting with the year end and other audits, along with being the lead finance individual for financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Budget and Business Planning
  • Working Capital and Treasury
  • Financial Reporting incl. Management Accounts and Group Reporting
  • Projects
  • Audit Management
  • Act as backup to the Senior Finance Manager
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant with first-time passes.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills to enable communication at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Preferably having some financial analysis experience
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • An understanding of the insurance intermediary market.
  • Experience of building detailed, complex financial models
