Facilities Manager
Our client, a prestigious Oxford University College, has an exciting opportunity to join their team as Facilities Manager.

The Facilities Manager, reporting directly to the bursar, will contribute to the development of the development of the colleges buildings strategy and support the implementation of refurbishment plans.

You will be the key interface with a range of consultants and advisers, leading any significant renovations and projects.

The successful candidate will be entitled to a salary of between £42-50k and a very generous benefits scheme.

The Role

·Taking Responsibility for the Colleges buildings, including development, projects and upkeep
·Liaising with the colleges appointed contractors and consultants
·Line managing the maintenance team
·Proactively and re-actively managing maintenance of the buildings
·Taking responsibility of health and safety
·Working with the bursar and accountant on annual budget-setting

The Ideal Candidate

·Qualifications or Qualification through experience with engineering, project management or facilities management
·Experience of negotiation of producing tender/contracts
·A thorough understanding of building management processes
·Experience of working with historic buildings is preferable
·Excellent communication skills
