My client is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead their continued growth. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Commercial Director and Head of Account Management to identify, approach, and convert prospective customers for their brokerage or consultancy business areas.
 
What You'll Do
  • As a Business Development Manager, you will have the autonomy to source leads within their target industries. You'll be responsible for arranging calls and meetings to advance opportunities and will attend prospect meetings with key team members. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Achieving new business and sustainability targets and KPIs
  • Identifying prospects and conducting lead generation
  • Confidently engaging with prospects and customers via phone calls and presentations
  • Converting leads into new business for procurement and sustainability
  • Upselling products and services to existing customers
  • Promoting a culture of growth through sales across the business
 
Who You Are
You are a highly motivated, target-driven individual with over 5 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management in a service industry role. You excel at exceeding targets and possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and interpersonal skills. While experience in energy procurement and contract negotiation is beneficial, it's not essential, as full training will be provided.
