Assistant (Junior) Accountant
Our client, a rapidly growing and reputable organisation based near Abingdon, is looking for an Assistant (Junior) Accountant to be part of their successful and friendly team by supporting the senior management team and financial services clients.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn and develop yourself towards your career goals, you will work 37.5 hours a week and be entitled to a salary of between £25-30k, please note a full UK driving licence is required for this position.
The Role
·Accounts preparation for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and charities
·Supporting clients with accounting and taxation issues
·Preparation of corporation tax returns
·Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
·Bookkeeping for clients
·Assist the senior accountant or director with client assignments
·Develop technical skills both on the job and through learning channels
The ideal candidate
·Part Qualified/Qualified AAT
·Some experience in an accountancy practice in a client facing role
·TaxCalc/Xero experience is preferred but not essential
·Time management
·Basic IT Skills and Microsoft Office skills
·Excellent verbal and written communication
