Technical Service Advisor

At Select Norwich, we are currently recruiting for a Technical Service Advisor (FTC) on behalf of our client, a heating and hot water products manufacturer based on the outskirts of Norwich.

The Role:

Work within team of 3, providing after sales customer support for service and technical enquiries, predominantly via telephone
After diagnosing the fault, the Technical Service Advisor will send an electronic response for a third party service engineer to visit
Liaise with other departments within the company, and work with field service engineers to diagnose faults
Assist with technical and service administration duties as required
Provide advice as accurate as possible against the facts provided
Assist with pre-sales enquiries as needed
Achieve KPI’s

Experience and Skills Required:

Excellent telephone manner
Customer Service experience
Excellent I.T. skills (including Microsoft Excel and Word) essential
Able to multi-task
Understanding of heating and hot/cold water products is desired

Personal Characteristics:

Strong communication skills
Able to use initiative and work well under pressure
Team player
