Our client, a professional and established organisation on the out-skirts of Romford has a new Technical Administrator vacancy that they are recruiting for. This role would suit a driven, multi-tasking administrator who is ideally educated to degree level within an engineering or technical subject. You will need to be able to work in a fast paced analytical and professional environment where you will be responsible for assisting with the daily maintenance key aspects of the quality control and assurance system within a precision manufacturing business. This role offers responsibility, variety and satisfaction as the role makes a real impact on the success of the business.

The Technical Administrator role:
• Provide administrative support to the Engineering & Quality Manager and Technical Team.
• Update / maintain the calibration register for all measuring equipment.
• Raise purchase requisitions for all measuring equipment replacements.
• Update all data systems required to generate monthly analysis data.
• Update all monthly analysis data KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Update all factory visual management boards as required.
• Process all customer information requests such as vendor surveys.
• Raise paperwork for supplier rejects.
• Supplier/ subcontractor certification record updates maintained.
• Update all quality procedures as requested.
• Support all technical projects and improvement initiatives as required.
• Communication across all levels as required.
• Updating of Health and Safety records.
• Filing and maintaining of Works Order information and records.

Requirements for the Technical Administrator role:
• Ideally Degree educated in an Engineering or Technically related subject.
• Office administration experience.
• A strong multi-tasker who genuinely enjoys working to schedules and deadlines.
• Motivated and proactive with an eagerness to learn and develop.
• Strong IT skills – specifically Excel spreadsheets
• Detailed and methodical in approach.
• Clear communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and accepts new challenges with enthusiasm.
• Well-presented, friendly and approachable.

Hours & Benefits for the Technical Administrator role:
8.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8.00am to 1.00pm (Friday’s)
23 days holiday (rising to 26 days with service)
