Sous Chef


We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to join a new venture at this newly-opened fresh food gastropub located in the beautiful town of Beaconsfield.

What we look for in a Sous Chef:-

– Experience within a fresh food kitchen in a gastropub or restaurant environment is essential.
– Prior experience as a Sous Chef, or a strong, ambitious Junior Sous Chef is required in order to lead the existing kitchen team.
– Work closely with the Head Chef to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained at all times, and to instil this amongst the team.
– Train, develop, and motivate the brigade to deliver to brand standards at all times.
– Level 2 Food Safety qualification is a minimum requirement (Level 3 is preferred).
– Great work ethic and a can-do attitude!

In return, the successful Sous Chef will receive:-

– A competitive remuneration package of up to £28k + Gratuities, depending on experience.
– Mainly straight shifts of approx. 9 hours, with very few split shifts.
