Sous Chef

Second Chef – Poringland – Norfolk 19 -20k – Full Time – Permanent

Looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to assist the Head Chef in the day to day running and management of the kitchen and lead the kitchen team to achieving the highest level of food production in the kitchen and catering operations at our Poringland Diner on a full time basis. The ideal applicant will have excellent people skills, and a passion for high quality food and food service.

Role duties:
•Ensure the efficient and smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
•Food purchasing and cost control
•Demonstrate and maintain a high standard of cooking to meet and exceed customer expectations
•Ability to work at a fast pace in a busy kitchen, and take control
•Be able to listen, learn and work well within a team
•Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations
