Senior Support Worker

Select Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a client as a Senior Support Worker.

This is for a 34-bed care home for people with learning and physical disabilities. You must have previous experience of working in a Senior Support role and have an NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care.

Alongside general duties, you will have the ability to manage a team, delegate tasks to the team, manage the rota and administer medication. You will also be very confident in developing and maintaining care plans.

You will support the development of person-centred planning and work closely with the management team. You will make sure that everything you do is person-centred and responsive to the needs, choices and aspirations of the person.

You will receive full training to support you to fulfil your role however you must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a support environment.

Full time hours which would include working alternative weekends. The hours would be 0700-1400 / 1400-2200.
£9.00 /hour
