Senior Chef/Sous Chef, Cambridgeshire wedding & Function Venue £24000-£25000pa plus paid overtime

At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Sous Chef to work under the Executive Chef

The client is a well established beautiful Wedding Venue, serving international cuisine to the customers satisfaction, with 99% their own home grown produce making it very seasonal and delicious.

Looking for a strong character friendly and excellent team player.

An award winning wedding and function venue are looking for a hard working and dedicated Sous Chef.

No Split shifts
Paid Overtime (circa £4000-£6000)
Great Career Progression

The Role
Sous Chef needed to join a team of talented chefs. The job involves preparing fresh ingredients and participating in service for wedding breakfast and day time functions.

My client needs someone with experience of cooking from scratch in a busy environment, who cares about making delicious, seasonal food.

You will be expected to motivate and drive your team to produce award winning food and servcice at all times.

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team

Experience and Skills required
•Ideally have Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
•Training on HACCP & COSHH systems.
•Creative and passionate about food.
•Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
•Ideally NVQ level 3 trained
