Our client is a National and leading B2B provider of solutions, within their industry, specialising in the supply and provision of Auto-ID hardware, software, managed services and associated products and accessories. The company has been established for over 30 years and continues to grow organically year on year, supported by the skill and enthusiasm of colleagues who provide product advice, technical support and service for both existing and new customers to the company.

Role description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our busy Sales Team.
Media sales includes pre-printed tags and labels, blank labels (own brand and third party), printer ribbons, RFID tags and printer cleaning kits. You will be responsible for calling a range of customers and prospects to investigate business need and develop opportunities. Working in a structured sales way, you will be required to achieve KPI’s which will include, but not be limited to, call out statistics, CRM management, and revenue results.

Full training and product support is provided but we need you to have certain key skills, over and above the key requisites of being enthusiastic, diligent and a great team player as well as being able to work on their own initiative. Candidates need to be passionate about delivering a World Class Service, with the ability to prioritise and time manage daily workloads, have a flexible approach to work and motivate others to do the same.
You must also be familiar with MS Office, particularly Microsoft Word/Excel. An interest in technology would also be an advantage.

Key aspects of this role

• Processing orders into Access Dimensions, including guiding customers through the secure payment system
• Investigating new enquiries with clear detail to pass through to Estimating Team for conversion to quote
• Sales and investigative skills with knowledge of sales methodology desired
• Ability to identify new business within new and existing clients, by investigating need
• Use the CRM system to manage Accounts, Contact and Opportunities
• Proactive and reactive Sales call handling often working with Campaigns
• Negotiate prices, initiate credit checks and agree payment terms & conditions of business in accordance with Company policy
• Dealing directly with Customers in all areas, liaising with Customer Services to obtain information or direct filtering of call to
Customer Services
• Working with the Production Team on own brand products
