Sales Administrator

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator on behalf of a company based in Peterborough.

Our client is based in a spacious and newly built business park. They have been established for several years but have only been in their new office for a few years. Their new office is fresh and open planned with top of the range office equipment and furniture throughout, creating a nice and professional atmosphere for every employee.

They are looking for someone to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 5:00pm but this is not essential. They are very accommodating and have said if someone is looking for flexibility on those working hours due to other commitments, then they would be open to considering it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others.
• Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect databases.
• Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets and time scales.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries in conjunction with other members of the sales team.
• Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
• Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
• Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Manage the movement of products in and out of the country in accordance with policy and procedures and to comply with relevant local country and international law and process.
• Manage the necessary documentation and forms for the efficient cost effective and lawful execution of imports and exports.
• Liaise with other departments to establish and maintain effective and relevant support in relation to materials management, production.
• Manage financial and currency processes and transactions in accordance with policy, debt collection.
