The successful candidate will be take full responsibility and ownership for the efficient day to day running of the business relating to everything Retail & Customer Service managing a team of Sales and Telesales staff.

Managing your team, your focus is maximising Sales conversion and the efficient running and visual appearance of our Retail division, whilst minimising costs and ensuring that we maintain our excellence in customer service always.

Staff management/training/communications, staff co-ordination and co-ordinating Retail workload in full through to deadline completion are key skill sets of the role. This role is extremely task orientated eg lots of actions across the team/department so being able to keep track of key actions and deliver to deadlines both personally and across your team is KEY.

This role requires someone that is dynamic and not afraid to roll their sleeves up as they will be hands on, yet they need to be able to organise and forecast workload planning for the department & team efficiently and to deadlines. You must be a highly energetic strong upbeat leader who can deal with big volumes of juggling deadlines and workload, which often changes through the day and daily.

It is key that you are a naturally proactive, outgoing, fun & positive as you will be customer facing and represent the company at various events and buying trips.

This role will report to the Managing Director and will be the key interface for Retail reporting back to the MD and working in partnership with the Operations Manager.

DUTIES INCLUDE: –

Staff Management

•Managing a Team of up to 25 Full & Part-Time Retail Sales & Ops Staff (majority part-time & seasonal)
•Resource planning
•Department & Staff Workload planning/deadline management – MUST BE EXTREMELY TASK ORIENTATED & BE ABLE TO OVERSEE LOTS OF ACTIONS ACROSS THE TEAM THROUGH TO DELIVERY IN FULL & WITHIN DEADLINES.
•Shift Organisation – pre-shift planning & leadership during shifts
•Staff Briefings/Shift Communications
•Staff Training & Recruitment

Stock Management

•Goods in – allocating orders/stock room coordination & stock room ownership
•Stock Control – identifying reordering needs working alongside the Owner & Office
•Identifying product needs and buying proposals on clutch bags, shoes & accessories working alongside the MD
•Assisting the MD with buying needs/ideas/attending Shows & Supplier Premises

Hours

•40 hours per week
•Being Retail, hours will include weekends, some eves & Peak Season School Holidays – Feb Half Term & Easter (being our busiest weeks of the year). During Peak periods 1st December to 1st June – min 2 eves & weekend working being essential to the efficient management of the Retail Premises being run efficiently during Retail Staff Shifts/Shop Floor Performance.
•During our quietest periods (summer) then shifts can be flexed
•Overtime required during peak periods as needed

Salary Package & Hours

•Circa £30-£40k
•Bonus £5-£10k (Split Quarterly) – Based upon Meeting Company Turnover/Profit Targets & Personal KPI’s
