Finance Assistant

Our client, a highly successful and established business based in Witney, require a Finance Assistant to join their busy and growing team.

The role is heavily admin based however is varied. The successful candidate will work closely with the finance officer and will be responsible for assisting in the administration of the business.

The Role

• Communicating with suppliers about current purchase orders as well as issuing new purchase orders
• Updating shipping and delivery timetables
• Organising receipt and delivery of new product samples to and from suppliers via various couriers
• Administration of stock movements on the accounting system
• Organisation of supplier and customs paperwork

The ideal candidate

• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Able to work independently and as a team
• Microsoft Office (Excel skills are highly desirable)
• Previous experience in an administrative role
