Purchase/Sales Ledger Clerk

Are you looking for a role that fits around school term time? I am looking for a finance assistant/purchase ledger clerk based west of Cambridge.
As part of an academic setting, my client uses finance software including SAGE 200 as well as Microsoft Office programmes. You will work with a range of suppliers and external agencies in a busy finance environment.
This is an opportunity to join a friendly team in an office of three, as well as alongside students and staff. You will support with;
• Issuing invoices/credit notes, processing invoices, payments and income.
• Preparation of budget reports.
• Ordering, receiving and checking in of deliveries.
• Ensuring arrangements for safe collection, accounting and collection of monies.
This position is offered on a temporary contract, paying £9.50 per hour. Office workers with this client have gone on to take contract extensions and permanent roles. Support, development and financial training is offered and encouraged.
