Project Co-ordinator

Due to continued success and growth within the business our client, a specialist office interiors and relocation company are looking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to join their team.

The main responsibility of the Project Co-ordinator is to support both the contracts manager and the projects manager providing a full administration resource. The role will be a pivotal part of the project delivery team, not only working with existing systems but also establishing new systems and processes as required.

You will support and control the administration of singular one-off projects and also on-going facilities programmes.

Day to duties include raising purchase orders for each element of the project and liaising with suppliers ensuring that delivery will be on time and in the right place! Also ensuring that supplier order acknowledgements are in line with orders placed and raising any discrepancies along with ensuring order project files are kept up to date so the team are fully aware of the latest status of each project.

The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure to very strict deadlines with an unflappable and ‘can do’ attitude as well as have a sense of humour.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential and exposure to the construction/fit out industry would be beneficial but not essential.

Essential:

• Superb organisational skills including time management
• Friendly and approachable manner to be able to communicate with your team and our clients
• The desire to see projects through from start to finish and ensuring that all elements are scheduled and completed along with all the necessary administration processes
• Great IT skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft teams. The ability to pick up new software packages as they are introduced into the company is vital. WorkflowMax is the current workflow package which is part of the Xero family and is a key part of how projects are delivered.
• Working closely with the project director from start to completion of the project and then handing over for the after-care provision.
• Constant vigilance of the work schedule to make sure all milestones are being kept.

This is a full time role with a friendly team, hours are flexible and working remotely as workload allows is encouraged.

If you have the relevant skills and experience and are looking to join a successful, forward thinking company with a great working environment, please send us your CV to arrange a confidential chat.
