6 months fixed term contract

A project administrator is required for an organisation that is funded by the NHs and makes up one of 15 Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) set up to improve health and care and generate economic growth.

Purpose of role:

Working within a small, but highly focused team, the Project administrator will work with a team of project and programme managers, responsible for delivering a series of national adoption and spread projects and several new innovative development projects.

Specifically, the post holder will be expected to support the team to run their projects effectively by providing timely and high-quality administrative support.
The role of project administrator is vital to the effective running of the team, ensuring that project tasks are planned effectively and systematically, delivered to time and to a high quality, supporting overall project success.

You will also be expected to contribute to wider organisational administrative, as required, supporting the office manager, bookkeeper and business manager to make sure policies and procedures are implemented and maintained consistently.

Skills & experience required:

– Proven ability to deliver administration and support
– You will need to demonstrate experience of providing a high-quality administrative service, working in a matrix environment across multiple projects
– Experience in supporting the design, development and implementation of change in complex stakeholder environment would be an advantage.
– Knowledge of impact of data protection laws in relation to their tasks
– Familiarity of and empathy with the NHS and current issues affecting innovation in the healthcare sector.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
