Product Manager (Sales & Marketing)

My client are a forward thinking tech company in the heart of Norwich city centre and are now on the hunt for a Product Manager (Sales & Marketing) to join the team.

Responsibilities
o Support the pre-sales process as needed; joining prospect meetings to discuss/present our product roadmap; developing / maintaining customer facing collateral (presentation, documents, videos) that can be used for this activity
o Maintain an overall understanding of our marketplace / competitors to be able to highlight our key points of differences
o Deliver pre-sales insight reviews to prospects at the end of trials to help close new business opportunities.
o Educate the Sales team on new features / enhancements to existing features released by Engineering and how it will be used by customers to create value
o Support the Quarterly Business Review process with Account Management providing updates and presentations on product road map to customers as required
o Meet with existing customers on site / via remote meetings to discuss, document and share feedback on their experience of using our solution
o Review, collate and prioritize product feedback from Customer Success for input to Engineering and the product road map
o Support the release of new or enhanced features – providing written and video-based content that can be used to educate existing customers and users and creating/reviewing help content (e.g. Masterclass videos on “Errors”)
o Be able to present the product road map at customer events (e.g. User Groups, Masterclasses, Product Advisory Board
o Educate the Customer Success team on new features / enhancements to existing features released by Engineering and how it will be used by customers to create value
o Represent the views of the prospects and existing customers providing input on their requirements and needs to (1) support the sprint activity of each development team delivering new or enhanced features and (2) the development of the product roadmap
o Identify gaps in product functionality and generate ideas that contribute towards the product features that help us win new business, improve existing customer experience, support client retention and drive growth.
o Understand the current status of development projects and timelines for upcoming future activity.

Role Requirements
• Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to proactively engage prospects / existing customers and identify product requirements
• Ability to work effectively across different functional teams
• Ability to travel for business to UK, Europe and US.
• Ability to work flexibly, outside of normal UK working hours, to support client meetings across different time zones
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deal with changing priorities and react at short notice
• Understanding of product management, business analysis, agile software development processes and web technologies
• Experience of using a web analytics solution to solve conversion and usability issues.
