Pre-sales technical support

An excellent opportunity is now available for a technical pre sales consultant to join this fast growing software business in Norwich.

The objective of the role is as follows:
• To work in fast-paced sales environment to support the acquisition of new customers, ensure the success of the free trials agreed by the sales team and in turn increase the revenue growth for the business.
•You will be tasked to integrate and implement the business JavaScript tag into varying website frameworks, including feature implementation and some custom code work

Role responsibilities
•Run scope calls with clients to identify trial requirements & get the free trial set-up process started
•Work with the existing team and, where necessary, adapt pre-built scripts, in order to integrate our tag into our client’s site whilst meeting all business edge use cases put forward for the trial during the scope call
•Support the client during the implementation phase to ensure the trial is set-up efficiently and expediently ensuring all use cases are met during the trial.
• Actively work on building a secondary relationship with the client during the implementation process.
• Proactively follow-up with clients to get the tags implemented when things slow down.
• Answer incoming support questions from emails, website contact requests and tickets from prospective new clients
•Manage the admin around all active free trials and keep impeccable records of all client communication on the support and ticketing system (Zendesk)

Target
• 90% of all free trials to be set-up and live within 1 week of the original set-up call.
• 100% of free trials set-up to deliver a successful close for the sales team.

Role requirements
•2 years’ experience of customer-facing support in the software industry, with a focus on delivering success to your clients.
•A good working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML & CSS is essential
•Experience working to implement tag solutions is desirable but not essential
•Experience working with Google Tag Manager / Adobe Tag Manager is desirable but not essential
•Technical aptitude and ability to learn software programs – you will be required to build an in-depth knowledge of the business solution and how to implement it
•Strong phone presence and relationship building skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills, you will be a part of the sales team so communications must compliment the messaging delivered by the sales team.
•Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively

You will have strong listening and problem solving skills – you will be required to help determine the outcome of a successful free trial and ensure the business is configured to deliver this.
