My client has a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Manager to join a busy law firm based in Ipswich.

This role has arisen due to retirement, these are exciting times at the firm for a new Practice Manager to assist with developing strategy and procedures for the firm.

As a Practice Manager you will have the responsibility across a number of key operational areas including people, finance, leadership, strategy, communications and business efficiency. It is essential you have minimum 5 years’ experience as a practice manager of a law firm, as this role will encompass Human Resources, assisting with compliance matters and identifying changes required, and being responsible for administration systems.

Reporting into the Managing Partner, you will work alongside the firm’s management team to ensure the successful implementation of the firms operational and strategic business aims. The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Skills and Experience:
• Monitoring employee performance and the firm’s appraisal system
• Implementing and assisting with the development of the firm’s business plan
• Overseeing the recruitment and on boarding process
• Ensuring any compliance matters are dealt with efficiently and effectively
• Assisting with the firms marketing strategy
• Leading on any Employee Relations matters
• Managing external provider relationships, including IT systems
