A well-known company based in Cambridge are currently seeking a PA/Legal Secretary to provide PA support primarily to a Partner and 2 solicitors in their Contentious Business Unit
Day to day duties will include:
• Preparing client engagement correspondence and ensure it is sent out to the client
• Preparing documents through audio typing and word processing on a pooled basis in the Business Unit from digital dictation.
• Preparing mail and enclosures for despatch
• Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintaining an up to date diary
• To attend to clients on behalf of the fee earner both in person and on the telephone.

Experience and Skills Required
• The successful candidate must have excellent PA skills
• A good attitude to work and an enthusiasm to do a good job
• Legal experience is essential in contentious work
• A good understanding of Litigation processes, procedures and documents

The hours of work will be Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with one hour for lunch.
Salary and Benefits
• Immediate start available
• My client is offering the successful candidate a salary around £24,000 gross per annum. This salary will be reviewed, but not necessarily increased, at the end of the probationary period
• Parking onsite
