My client are looking for an experienced operations manager that has an IT background and some knowledge of IT networking. They must be capable of managing people, not afraid to challenge and help progress their teams behaviour.

The Role:

Day to day management of the Technical and Operational aspects of the company
1. Ensure all technical and operations staff are focused on agreed priorities and following all agreed company process and procedures
2. Ensure all customer support services are fully functional, delivering first class client support
3. Ensure all customer and supplier contact is fully documented via the appropriate operational applications
4. Ensure all client product installations are carried out to date and are signed off by the client

Development, Bugs and Fixes
1. In conjunction with the Group Operations Director and the Engineering Support Technical Project Manager, agree the priorities of all software development projects, Bugs and fixes and ensure the developers work to the priorities.
2. Ensure the development, bugs & fixes priorities are added to the Trello Board and set as ‘weekly sprints’ for the developers
3. In conjunction with the Engineering Support Technical Project Manager ensure all development projects are subject to full project plans.
5. Attend meetings with approved technical partners to review hardware and services and agree how OSi add new technologies to the integrated platform

Manage Operational & Development Team
1. Manage the Developers and the Customer Support Engineers, including the Golf Products and Customer Account Manager.
2. Hold monthly and annual performance reviews for the operational staff
3. Set and review monthly performance targets for all operational and development staff

Manage the Office and Company Telecommunications Functions
1. Ensure that the office IT and Telecommunications services are fully fit for purpose
2. Design and implement the most appropriate Telephone service to enable call forwarding to remote locations
3. Review and recommend the CRM, Fault Reporting, Development and Project Management systems to deliver excellent service to all clients

Company Management
1. Provide full technical and operational advice and guidance on how the company can deliver to new as well as existing markets
2. Attend quarterly Customer Review meetings and offsite customer meetings as required
