Marketing Executive

An excellent opportunity is now available for an experienced Marketing Executive to join this leading brand, to help implement the marketing strategy, including all print and production and digital media ensuring brand compliance, alongside the Marketing Manager.

Principal tasks and responsibilities:
• With the support of the Marketing Manager, assist in the development of a marketing strategy
• Update and manage the website with the goal to maintain brand consistency, enhance user experience and increase inbound lead generation. Monitoring data analytics and leveraging the results to identify areas of strength and of weakness.
• Implement effective digital marketing activities across various channels, including email, social and website.
• Execute cost-effective digital marketing activity for various campaigns.
• Monitor performance of digital marketing activity and provide insight on how to optimise for conversion.
• Ensure brand compliance and act as brand guardian with sign-off for all communication materials produced across the organisation, flagging up any issues or queries with the Marketing Manager, and ensuring a consistent verbal and visual identity
• Managing and delivering the copywriting, proof reading, design and print production for all marketing, including reports, guides, leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, web copy, e-newsletters, and other promotional activity.
• With the support of the Marketing Manager assist in the management of the roster of marketing suppliers including, printers, designers, photographers, bloggers, list brokers and communication agencies.
• Ensure the effective distribution of marketing materials, monitoring publication sales and producing monthly sales reports
• To build strong relationships with all internal departments and act as the first port of call for colleagues on any aspect of marketing.
• Meet regularly with Heads of Department and project teams across the organisation to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of projects which require marketing input.
• Ensure that effective administration and record keeping in the department is up to date at all times, including effective communications processes for project database management, sign-off and approval.
• With the support of the Marketing Manager develop costed budgets, and manage the marketing expenditure in line with the budget ensuring no over or underspend.
• Play a key role and execute company’s PR strategy including development of press releases, media relations, industry awards, etc. coordinating activities and managing agencies to get the most out of our PR efforts.
• Manage creation of marketing collateral, brochures, case studies, sales presentations, internal presentation templates etc. Work to also include an audit of current marketing materials to ensure they are brand compliant.
• Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management.

PLEASE NOTE There will be a requirement for you to work on Saturdays as you will be responsible for social media coverage on that day – therefore some flexibility is required on this, which can be home or office based, but it is a requirement of the role. Some requirement for evening and weekend working around events may be the nature of the business, time off in lieu will be provided.
